To strengthen our Risk Management team, we are looking for a committed and analytically minded individual who will help shape our IT processes and risk methods as a Junior IT Specialist Financial Mathematics.
Your area of responsibility
- You contribute to the further development of our software within the internal risk reporting system landscape (e.g., market and credit risk calculations as well as external and internal reporting)
- You ensure that internal processes, interfaces, tools, and databases function smoothly and are continuously developed (including release management for tools and databases)
- You support the future cloud migration of the internal risk reporting system landscape to the Microsoft Azure environment
- You assist with group-wide operational risk management (determination of the SST solvency ratio, analysis of risk drivers, quantification of ALM measures, etc.)
- You are responsible for conducting and supporting various ad-hoc analyses in the area of risk management, especially in connection with tools and data
Your strengths
- You have a completed degree with proven IT background - ideally complemented by insurance/financial mathematics/data science. The position is also suitable for individuals who wish to pursue a master's degree in parallel
- You have very good programming skills in languages such as R, C#, SQL, Python, or VBA as well as solid knowledge in handling databases. Cloud computing knowledge is an advantage
- You have a quick grasp, efficient and goal-oriented working style, as well as a high level of quality awareness
- You have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
