Sarah and Andreas Caminada founded the Fundaziun Uccelin in 2016 with the goal of professionally, financially, and personally supporting young cooking and service enthusiasts. Within the framework of tailored foundation programs, Uccelin sends scholarship holders out into the wide world of culinary arts, to leading restaurants and producers on all continents. Managing Director 60-100% (m/f/d).

Your tasks
Strategic leadership
- Management of the foundation in all business matters with a pronounced entrepreneurial spirit
- Development and implementation of the foundation's long-term strategy in accordance with the organization's vision and goals
- Advising the board of trustees on setting the strategic direction and priorities
Operational management
- Leading and coordinating the foundation's daily business activities
- Ensuring efficient and transparent administration of the foundation
- Leading and motivating the team as well as developing a positive working environment
- Developing and implementing fundraising campaigns and events to increase awareness and fundraising, as well as monitoring and evaluating results
- Preparing and conducting board of trustees meetings
Financial management
- Responsibility for financial planning, control, and management of the foundation's budget
- Active and focused acquisition of third-party funds and fundraising to ensure the foundation's long-term financial viability through private and institutional donors
- Monitoring the foundation's financial performance and regular reporting to the board
- Continuously independently contributing new strategic ideas and further development as well as consistent implementation of the defined strategy
- Focus on building and maintaining relationships with key players in the Swiss foundation landscape
Public relations and networking
- Representing the foundation publicly, with relevant stakeholders, and in the media
- Building and maintaining partnerships with other organizations, institutions, and sponsors
- Developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the foundation's purpose
- Actively managing social media channels
You bring
- Degree at FH or HF level and business management training
- Several years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in a non-profit organization or foundation
- Solid knowledge in fundraising, finance, and budgeting
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and present at various levels
- Passion for the foundation's mission and the ability to convey this vision both internally and externally
- Strong initiative, strategic thinking, and high problem-solving skills
- Fluent English skills
- Willingness to travel
