• Together with the kitchen crew and your coach, you will rock our restaurant and inspire our guests
• You prepare tasty menus from fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and spices
• You ensure the physical well-being of your guests
• Together we create the cuisine of today and tomorrow and develop new food trends
• You take responsibility and creatively present your dishes on the plate
• You check the delivery of goods, control the quality of the food and store it properly

Your place of work

The Hotel Schloss Gerzensee, owned by the Swiss National Bank Foundation, offers 57 modern rooms with bath/WC, TV stereo system, direct dial telephone, free Wi-Fi as well as balcony or seating area. For seminars and events, various rooms of different sizes for up to 180 people are available. The gastronomic area includes a guest restaurant, the orangery and a vaulted cellar bar. The operation includes the castle park and the Gerzensee lake, which invite guests to linger. You work in a 7-day operation, depending on the duty roster. Whenever possible, we avoid split shifts. In the evening and at weekends, you are available flexibly.

What we offer you - among other things

Events: Introduction week, Chiefs for a Week, special SV specialist courses, apprenticeship graduation ceremony
Financial: 1st year CHF 1,020, 2nd year: CHF 1,300, 3rd year: CHF 1,550, 13th month salary, financial contribution to school material costs
Working days: 42-hour week (mostly Mon - Fri in an SV staff restaurant)
Holidays: 6 weeks
Catering: free, fresh and healthy staff catering

The Hotel Schloss Gerzensee (BE) is located on the beautiful Gerzensee, nestled in unique nature. 57 modern equipped rooms with a beautiful view as well as 17 different event and seminar rooms in the castle and the castle estate are available to our guests. The gastronomic area includes a restaurant, an orangery and a vaulted cellar bar. The hotel also includes a spacious castle garden and a boathouse directly on the hotel-owned Gerzensee.
