Automation Technician as Project Manager
Tasks
- Control and awarding of technical projects (internal & external)
- Procurement and implementation of test setups, prototypes, and development systems
- Analysis and solution of control engineering challenges in production
- Planning and implementation of improvement and automation projects
- Creation of work instructions as well as conducting training sessions
- Further development of deployed technologies with a focus on "Best in Class"
- Project planning, control, and controlling
- Conducting feasibility studies
Requirements
- Basic electrical training with relevant practical experience
- Advanced training in electrical engineering (or willingness to do so)
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Affinity for Industry 4.0, IT/OT, and IoT
- Knowledge of PLCs as well as common communication protocols (OPC UA, Profibus, Profinet) and systems such as MES/ERP
- Analytical, communicative personality with a hands-on mentality
- Assertive, agile, and team-oriented
- Very good German and good English skills
