Senior Legal Counsel with Focus on Derivatives / Securities Financing (m/f/d)

The Legal & Compliance department handles legal issues of all kinds and ensures that the behavior and actions of the Raiffeisen Group comply with internal and external regulations. In a dynamic banking environment, the Raiffeisen Group is opening up new business areas. In this context, the areas of trading and capital markets including transactions and new products are being further expanded.

We are looking for an open-minded and committed personality for the Legal & Compliance Trading / M&A team at the Zurich Airport (The Circle) and/or St. Gallen location with home office options, starting immediately or by arrangement, who remains calm and keeps an overview in the face of demanding tasks.

• Comprehensive legal advice for specialized departments of the Raiffeisen Group, especially for the areas of trading, capital markets including transactions and financial products (including structured products)
• Focus on independent drafting and negotiation of contracts, especially in the derivatives area (including ISDA, SMA), securities lending/borrowing (including GMSLA) and repo (including GMRA)
• Participation in the expansion of new business areas, interdisciplinary collaboration in regulatory and group strategic projects
• Drafting legal opinions and treatises
• Collaboration with external bodies such as regulators, financial market infrastructures, and external lawyers

• Master's degree in law from a Swiss university, further legal qualifications (e.g. Swiss bar admission) are an advantage
• 5 - 10 years of professional experience as a lawyer in the relevant areas of responsibility
• Motivation and ability to familiarize oneself with and contribute to new legal areas
• Very good German and English skills are required
• Service-oriented, precise and efficient working style focused on the needs of front office units
• Team-oriented, integrative, communicative and persuasive personality
