In our heart-lung practice at Spalenring in Basel, our experienced team of 7 cardiologists and 3 pulmonologists provides patients with interdisciplinary medical care at the highest level for cardiopulmonary complaints. Modern, inviting rooms in a historic building create a unique atmosphere. To complement our team, we are looking for a patient-oriented, dedicated, and reliable person as a Specialist FMH in Pneumology including Head of Department 100% immediately or by agreement.

• You are independently responsible for a wide range of pulmonary clarifications in the context of the consultative outpatient clinic, such as: body plethysmography, bronchospasmolysis, and metacholine provocation test, CO and NO measurements in the exhaled air, 5-minute walk test, spiroergometry.
• You initiate and monitor ventilation therapies for sleep-related breathing disorders.
• You evaluate nocturnal pulse oximetries and polygraphies assigned to us by senders from all over Switzerland.
• Maintaining active contact with referring doctors is also part of your daily tasks.
• You lead the field of pneumology with further development of the area. You engage in projects, optimize processes, ensure quality, and take responsibility for equipment.
• Specialist FMH in Pneumology or comparable foreign qualification recognized by MEBEKO and at least 3 years of professional experience with a 100% position at a recognized Swiss training institution.
• Very good German language skills, French and/or Italian language skills are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel); knowledge of practice software is an advantage.
