Job Description
MAIN MISSIONS:
As the true right hand of the General Manager, you ensure the coordination, organization, administrative and operational management of the hotel, while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with brand standards. As the field reference, you ensure continuity of management in the absence of the General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer relations:
- Guarantee reception, anticipate and manage situations, ensure quality follow-up, customer reviews, and complaints.
Team management:
- Recruitment, integration, supervision, training, scheduling, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Operational management:
- Supervise reception, catering, accommodation, and maintenance.
- Provide occasional support in the absence of management or department heads.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety standards, and brand standards.
- Support teams in continuous quality and service improvement.
Administrative management :
- Handle various correspondences.
- Participate in monitoring turnover and key performance indicators.
- Manage financial functions: cash monitoring, invoicing, quotes, investments.
- Monitor pricing strategy to optimize hotel revenue.
Commercial development:
- Represent the hotel locally, participate in loyalty actions, and contribute to the establishment's growth.
Projects & communication :
- Organize, coordinate, and ensure the proper implementation of various projects related to the group, the owning company, or management.
- Ensure communication between management, teams, partners, and clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as Deputy Director or department head.
- Native French speaker, very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is a plus.
- Excellent decision-making ability, autonomy, and organizational skills.
- Proximity leadership, sense of service and hospitality, taste for fieldwork, and great flexibility.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to an evolving work environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to train team members and develop their skills.
- Mastery of PMS (Opera Cloud) and MS Office.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (hospitality/business school) or equivalent operational experience.
