AutoChem, a strategic business unit within the Lab division of Mettler Toledo, provides advanced analytical and software solutions for scientists in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. As data science and AI become a central pillar of our product strategy, we are expanding our capabilities to move from data generation to knowledge and insight delivery. We are looking for a Data Scientist 100% (all genders) to join our global team in Nänikon Greifensee. You will explore and prototype new data science and machine learning approaches and collaborate across product management, customers and software development to bring these innovations into our products, making a direct impact on how future AutoChem solutions turn complex data into clear answers.In this role, your responsibilities would include: Take ownership of evaluating new data science technologies and rapidly developing prototypes to drive innovation.Collaborate with product management, customers, and software development teams to refine and integrate AI/machine learning solutions into products.Lead and coordinate data science project stages, ensuring alignment with product needs and timely achievement of milestones.Gather market and user feedback to tailor solutions that meet real-world demands.Develop, test, and validate prototypes, maintaining involvement throughout the technology development lifecycle.Document projects thoroughly and prepare handovers for the New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) process.
