Il s’agit d’un poste réparti entre l’Université de Genève (40%) et l’Université de Lucerne(40%) rattaché à un projet financé par le Fonds national suisse (FNS) dont les invstigteurs principaux sont PD Dr Dr André von Bueren (Université de Genève), et la Prof. Dr Gisela Michel (Université de Lucerne). Le projet s’intitule ’ Fathers in Need of Emotional and Social Support (le projet FINESSE) : une étude en méthodes mixtes visant à explorer les expériences et les besoins des pères à la suite du diagnostic de cancer de leur enfant ’.
Le diagnostic de cancer chez un enfant a un impact significatif sur la dynamique familiale, provoquant une détresse psychologique chez les parents et perturbant les rôles familiaux. Dans le cadre de ce projet, nous visons à explorer les expériences et les conséquences psychosociales chez les pères dont l’enfant a été diagnostiqué avec un cancer. Le projet comprendra une enquête longitudinale, des entretiens qualitatifs, une discussion Delphi ainsi que des revues de littérature. Il s’agit d’un projet collaboratif entre l’Université de Lucerne et l’Université de Genève, impliquant l’ensemble des neuf centres d’oncologie pédiatrique en Suisse.

The project will include a longitudinal survey, qualitative interviews, a Delphi discussion and literature reviews. This is a collaborative project between the University of Lucerne and University of Geneva involving all nine pediatric oncology centers in Switzerland.

Titre et compétences exigés
- Doctorat (PhD) ou diplôme équivalent en psychologie, sciences de la santé, sciences sociales ou discipline apparentée;
- Langue maternelle allemande ou française (le bilinguisme est un atout). Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais. L’italien est un atout;
- Expérience des méthodes quantitatives et/ou qualitatives (idéalement les deux);
- Méthode de travail structurée, autonome et rigoureuse.
Compétences générales pour la candidature
- Excellentes compétences en communication et capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe internationale et interdisciplinaire;
- Approche proactive et autonome de la recherche, avec un fort engagement envers l’excellence.
Responsabilités :
- Contribuer à la coordination du projet en collaboration avec une équipe multidisciplinaire;
- Supervision de la collecte des données, analyser les données et rédiger des manuscrits scientifiques;
- Présenter les résultats lors de conférences nationales et internationales;
- Contribuer à l’encadrement de doctorant·e·s et d’assistant·e·s étudiant·e·s impliqué·e·s dans le projet;
- Contribuer à la rédaction de newsletters ou de demandes de financement.

Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent degree in psychology, health sciences, social sciences, or similar discipline;
- Native German or French speaker (bilingual proficiency is an advantage). Excellent English. Italian is an advantag;
- Experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methods (ideally both);
- Structured, independent, and accurate way of working.

Responsibilities:
- Help coordinate the project together with a multidisciplinary team;
