YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Technical responsibility in strategic service projects in the field of Power Supply (inverter, transformer, main switch, traction motor)
- Technical single point of contact for Category Management Strategic Procurement
- Definition and evaluation of maintenance and overhaul scopes as well as implementation of improvement projects
- Technical plausibility checks during calculation phases (scope of services, delivery deadlines, specifications) including technical evaluation, qualification and risk analysis of existing/new suppliers
- Identification of component structure and original manufacturers in the power supply sector
- Further development of technical product knowledge regarding maintainability and service requirements
- Evaluation of technical alternatives in obsolescence cases (including form-fit-function)
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in the field of energy technology or comparable training with many years of professional experience
- Deep technical understanding of inverters, transformers, main switches and traction motors
- Experience in the power supply or rolling stock environment
- Ability for technical analysis, evaluation and supplier qualification
- Experience in dealing with technical specifications, maintenance requirements and service scopes
- Structured, independent and responsible way of working
- Strong communication and interface skills
- Travel activity max. 20%
