Polymechanic – Service Technician – Opportunity for Permanent Employment
Activities
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of filter systems as well as central supply systems at customers throughout Switzerland (German and French-speaking Switzerland).
- Support and advice to our customers as well as assistance in sustainable problem-solving for technical malfunctions.
- On-site assignments for troubleshooting.
- Internal support in final assembly, system testing, and final tests.
- Collaboration in mechanical and electrical system construction as well as support of the service organization.
- After appropriate training, performing small software updates as well as PLC programming and visualizations directly at the customer.
- Depending on suitability, taking on additional tasks in the areas of work preparation (AVOR), technology, and creation of technical documentation.
- External assignments: approx. 50–60% | Internal work: approx. 40–50%
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ, electromechanic, mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery mechanic, or similar training.
- Very good mechanical, electrical, and electronic knowledge.
- Experience in assembly, service, or maintenance of technical systems is desirable.
- Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics as well as electrical installations on machines.
- Quick comprehension, high willingness to learn, and independent working style.
- Committed, customer-oriented personality with confident manners.
- Resilience and flexibility for occasionally necessary overtime; compensation is arranged by agreement.
- Willingness to further education in electrical engineering and PLC programming (support provided by the company).
