What is your job?

Your tasks include formwork, concrete work, and masonry work. As a mason, you work on the shell construction of a building or civil engineering project. You primarily build structures made of reinforced concrete, but also from stone and brick, and use prefabricated components. You will learn about the work on new buildings as well as renovation and repair work, and you will work on residential buildings as well as larger commercial and industrial buildings.

What do you bring?

You enjoy physical work, like to get your hands dirty, and enjoy working outdoors? Do you love being able to look back on your work at the end of the day? Then the masonry apprenticeship could be just right for you. Additionally, you bring manual skills, practical understanding, and spatial imagination.

What do you benefit from?

You benefit from a diverse vocational training in a large company where you can work in different areas and on various construction sites. After the 3-year vocational training, you will receive the Federal Certificate of Competence "Mason EFZ".
