The employees of the Civil Engineering Department ensure user-oriented management of roads, green spaces, forests, waters, water supply, sewerage, and disposal. To complement our team, we are looking for a
YOUR TASKS IN THIS POSITION ARE:
- Maintenance, operational and structural upkeep of the road and path network
- Creating and maintaining temporary and permanent signage
- Care and maintenance of public facilities such as green areas, trees, shrubs, and infrastructure
- Maintenance and cleaning of public waste containers including weekend shifts
- Structural and operational maintenance in and around waters
- Repair work on the sewer network
- Maintenance and repairs in cemetery facilities
- Occasional assistance with funerals and in all areas of maintenance operations
- Assistance in the main collection point (disposal)
- Implementation of occupational safety and health protection measures
- Performing duties in winter service, during storms, and at cultural events (also outside regular working hours and on weekends)
- On-call duty
YOUR PROFILE FITS PERFECTLY IF YOU:
- Preferably have completed vocational training as a specialist in operational maintenance, gardener (specializing in garden and landscape construction EFZ), road builder EFZ, mason EFZ, or comparable, and ideally have some professional experience.
- Must have a valid driving license category B and BE.
- Appreciate an independent and quality-conscious working style.
- Are fluent in German, both spoken and written.
- Have good manners to build a good rapport with internal and external customers.
- Can be at the workplace within 20 minutes for winter service deployments.
- Enjoy digitalization and its application.
