The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) has developed the self-help app "Sui" together with people from the target group. The app supports refugees in seven languages with information about life in Switzerland and practical psychological tips. If needed, users receive individual support via chat in their first language.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed peer companion who is fluent in Arabic and French and has experience in the asylum and migration sector, immediately or by arrangement.

• Psychosocial chat support in Arabic and French
• Translations from German to Arabic/French as well as quality assurance of existing content
• Referral to local counseling centers and exchange with professionals
• Maintenance and updating of content in the Content Management System (CMS)
• Participation in promoting the app (e.g., visits to collective accommodations or federal asylum centers)
• Support with user questions and forwarding of technical issues
• Collecting feedback and contributing improvement suggestions

• Very good Arabic and French skills (spoken & written)
• Good German skills (spoken)
• Professional or personal experience in the field of flight, asylum, or migration
  Enjoyment in contact with people and supporting refugees
• Experience in written translations
• Solid IT user skills and openness to new tools
• Independent, resilient, and flexible working style as well as clear communication skills

• A meaningful activity in direct contact with refugees

• Temporary employment until 31.12.2028 on an hourly wage basis
