The Business Architect (m/f/d) Sales & Marketing is responsible for designing and further developing an integrated, future-proof, and regulatory-compliant business architecture for the business unit. The goal is to optimize the implementation of initiatives & projects, reduce complexity, and ensure a consistent end-to-end view of processes, value streams, capabilities, and data – in close collaboration with business, IT, legal, and compliance.
Your area of responsibility
- You design the business architecture for sales and marketing (business processes, value streams, business capabilities, and data flows)
- You continuously analyze the current architecture, develop the target architecture, and derive concrete actions
- You model cross-functional business processes to ensure continuity, reduce complexity, and increase efficiency; at the same time, you actively maintain interfaces with other business units
- You consistently consider regulatory requirements and ensure their consistent representation in the business architecture
- In projects, you advise on solution approaches, ensure quality, support decision-making, and take on project management for selected key topics
- You actively support the management of the roadmap, as well as the rolling planning and prioritization of requirements along the value streams.
- You maintain a trusting collaboration with other business units, IT, as well as legal and compliance, and actively participate in the Business Architecture Committee
Your strengths
- You have a degree in business, business informatics, or a comparable relevant field
- You bring several years of practical experience in business architecture as well as in project management and cross-departmental collaboration
- Sound knowledge of the insurance market and the regulatory environment as well as experience in designing and optimizing business processes characterize you
- A good understanding of IT system landscapes, data architectures, and their integration into business processes complements your profile
- You convince with pronounced planning and analytical skills as well as a clear presentation of complex topics – complemented by communication skills as well as moderation and presentation skills
- Fluent German skills and very good business English complete your profile; French is a plus
