Bad Sonder is a special school home in St. Gallen located in the most beautiful spot above Teufen AR. Here, fifty to sixty young people aged ten to seventeen with learning, behavioral, and/or perception difficulties are taught. Just over forty young people live during the school weeks in our five socio-pedagogical residential groups. We are looking for a

Workshop Teacher (approx. 50%)

Your tasks:

• You encourage our young people in half-classes to discover that there is more in them than they themselves believe
• You enjoy working with the learners on cool projects and thus teach them how to handle wood, metal, and more.
• You value basic skills and appreciate learning and working together
• You are a role model and gladly accompany individual processes

Your profile:

• You are a trained teacher, ideally a workshop teacher
• You actively contribute to our team
• For our young people, you are a tangible, reliable counterpart
• Diversity in teaching is part of your daily routine
• Above all, you have joy and great commitment in dealing with young people in difficult life situations
