• You lead a high-performing, professionally skilled maintenance team (approx. 15 people) and shape a technically demanding, varied working environment where reliability and efficiency come together.
• Together with your team, you ensure that our shunting and special vehicles and their components remain safe, high-quality, and operational. You take on the professional and personnel responsibility and are the driving force for smooth processes.
• You actively further develop processes: optimising workflows, improving collaboration at interfaces with other areas, and introducing pragmatic improvements are part of your daily actions.
• You promote the professional development of your employees, systematically build up competencies, and plan successions proactively – thus securing know-how and team strength in the long term.
• You are responsible for productivity and costs and bring economic thinking into operational management without losing sight of quality and safety.

• You are an independent, resilient leader with high initiative, flexibility, and customer-oriented action.
• Structured, systematic working style, pronounced social skills, good communication behaviour, and assertiveness.
• Strong quality awareness and high customer orientation.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable position as well as railway know-how are advantageous.
• Completed vocational training EFZ (mechanical or electrical) plus further training as Technician HF / Industrial Foreman or similar; very good German skills (C1) and good to very good (min. B1) French skills.
