Your mission

You take responsibility for complex, innovative projects at the interface between mechanical engineering, software, electronics, and production – from the idea to productive implementation.
You ensure that innovation becomes reality.

What you achieve:

• You lead demanding automation and digitization projects with a focus on productivity, quality, and technology leadership
• You work closely with development, production, electronics, software, and process engineering to design new production systems from scratch.
• You design and implement complex control and management systems – up to successful commissioning.
• You lead an interdisciplinary team of specialists and drive projects with a clear focus on results and excellence.
• You develop and implement innovative concepts for machine learning, image processing, and data acquisition to automate processes intelligently.
• You identify technical potentials and transform them into concrete projects – with measurable impact on efficiency and quality.
• You shape the automation strategy through technical excellence, speed, and hands-on competence.

Your profile

Strategic thinker. Operationally strong. Technologically curious.

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science/software, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, process and production technology (FH, HF, university or ETH) or a related field
• Several years of experience in leading and implementing complex automation projects in an industrial environment
• Proven competence in PLC programming (Siemens STEP7, TIA Portal), visualization systems (e.g., WinCC, Atvise), and ideally Python development.
• Strong in system architecture, process analysis, and interface integration between mechanics, electronics, and software.
• Experience in machine vision, data analysis, and smart factory applications is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of quality, safety, efficiency, and agile development methodology.
• Very good communication skills in German and English.
