To strengthen our engineering team in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for a Plant Engineer.

In this position, you take on a central role in the further development and ensuring smooth plant operations. You actively contribute to ensuring the performance of our production plants, utilizing optimization potentials, and successfully implementing investment projects. You work closely with various technical teams and thus support Arxada's continuous growth as well as our claim to develop solutions that go beyond the ordinary.

Main Responsibilities

Planning and implementation of maintenance measures in the assigned plant area.
Ensuring, reviewing, and continuously maintaining the technical plant documentation.
Support in plant responsibility as well as taking over deputizing and duties within the department.
Planning and realization of investment projects as well as participation in risk analyses, operational trials, and plant optimizations.
Technical responsibility as a specialist for assigned technical topics as well as active knowledge transfer in the field of mechanics.

Qualifications and Experience

Completed training as a mechanic or locksmith EFZ with several years of professional experience or technician HF (mechanical engineering or process engineering).
Solid experience in the field of operational engineering.
Very good German and good English skills.
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
Independent, structured working style combined with solution-oriented thinking and high resilience.
