Tasks and Responsibilities
- Act as primary on-site point-of-contact for the managed infrastructure service: coordinate between client business stakeholders, internal technical team (remote), and any on-site resources/vendors.
- Understand infrastructure service delivery (Windows server/AD/virtualisation) sufficiently to translate business requirements into technical tasks, monitor progress, and ensure alignment.
- Manage operational aspects of the service: schedule regular check-ins with the client, review KPIs and SLAs, escalate issues, coordinate change windows, downtime communications.
- Support and ensure hardware/software deliveries, on-site vendor visits, maintenance windows, escalations.
- Maintain service documentation and communicate service status to the client and internal leadership: reports, dashboards, run-books, escalation logs, meetings.
- Work with internal service delivery manager / remote team to develop standards, tools and process optimisations.
- Assist in budget/planning for the service line: feed back actuals, resource needs, margin monitoring, device count growth forecasts.
- Provide client-facing presentations/reports: service reviews, technical overviews, roadmap discussions.
- Ensure that the new service line meets margin, growth and quality targets.
- Strong IT infrastructure background: Windows Servers, Active Directory, virtualization (e.g., VMware ESXi)
- Proven experience in coordination or service-delivery roles: stakeholder management, reporting, vendor management, project or service coordination.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, ability to manage multiple parallel work-streams and deliverables.
- Fluent English and German skills
