Management and further development of the Construction and Structural Engineering Department
Establishment and further development of applied research at the interface of structural engineering and architecture
Teaching activities in the field of structural design and structural engineering in the degree programs Civil Engineering and Architecture as well as in interdisciplinary courses.
Supervising project and final theses in the degree programs Wood, Construction, and Architecture

Starting from the fall semester 2028, the workplace will be in Biel

What you ideally bring with you

University degree Master (ETH/FH/TU) as a civil engineer, preferably with a doctorate
Leadership and research experience in an academic environment or in the private sector (including project acquisition and management)
Network and entrepreneurial skills to initiate and implement applied research projects and services
Teaching experience as well as affinity for conveying and using digital planning tools
German native level (language of instruction), English and French skills are a plus
