Tasks
In this internship, you are responsible for the disposition and worldwide shipping of inflight material and support the Inflight Hospitality and Catering team in various projects.
Through close collaboration with suppliers, caterers, and freight forwarders, you work in an international environment.
- Material management of own supplier and item assortment via SAP MM
- Organization of worldwide import and export transports by sea freight, air freight, and land transport
- Daily supply and support of caterings with catering material
- Communication with internal (Catering Operations, Event Team, Crew Service Team) and external parties (suppliers, freight forwarders, catering, warehouse operators)
- Assistance with annual inventory of stock
- Assistance and support with hospitality & catering projects

Requirements
- Desired workload: A workload of at least 80% is preferred for this position
- Basic education / schools: High school graduate or graduate of a technical, commercial, or business school or 3-year apprenticeship (EFZ)
- Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
- Good Windows user skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Conflict resolution skills, solution-oriented approach, and team-oriented
- Good numerical understanding, interconnected thinking, and organizational skills
- Independent & precise working style
