Head of IT Services (CIO) 100%

Your tasks

• Strategic, operational, personnel and financial management of the IT services with around 80 employees 
• Implementation and continuous development of the municipal ICT strategy and active participation in the municipal digitalization board 
• Active participation in the management committee of the Finance Department as well as competent advice and support of the department management, the city council and the administration in strategic, tactical and operational ICT issues 
• Professional support of the department management in political committees as well as responsible representation of the IT services externally
• Ensuring a stable, secure and efficient ICT operation
• Further development of collaboration and targeted empowerment of employees in the sense of a trusting leadership culture

Your profile

• University degree (FH/Uni) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field with a pronounced understanding of business contexts 
• Several years of leadership experience in managing complex organizations, ideally in the public or politically influenced environment
• Strong strategic, conceptual and analytical skills as well as the ability to implement projects with clarity and commitment 
• Very high leadership, social, communication and presentation skills to convey complex topics understandably and convincingly
• Joy and ability to further develop organization and culture and to effectively shape change processes
