The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The following position is aimed at candidates who wish to submit an unsolicited application as
Psychotherapist in training (40% or 60%)
Profile:
The internship is aimed at psychologists holding a master's degree or license who need to carry out clinical practice as psychotherapists in training in view of completing the training to obtain the federal advanced title in psychotherapy (PsiCo).
Necessary requirements
- master's degree, license or psychology diploma according to Art.2 LPPsi, or only for EU countries: foreign title + possible state authorization + recognition of the title by the Federal Office of Public Health PsiCo;
- being enrolled in a psychotherapy advanced training course provisionally or definitively accredited. Exceptions are possible for applicants domiciled in Switzerland who complete the entire training abroad but intend to return to Switzerland after completing the training;
- enjoy a good reputation and possess the mental and physical requirements necessary for the profession;
- predisposition for human contact, motivation to work with patients, communication, relational skills and flexibility;
- ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team;
- excellent knowledge of spoken and written Italian and possibly a second national language;
- essential knowledge of main computer tools (Office package);
- knowledge of the territory and the social-health network of the Canton Ticino;
- permit for foreign citizens or alternatively a declaration issued by the regional service for foreigners certifying the pending application for the permit.
Start date: depending on service availability.
