These are your tasks
- As a fire protection officer, be responsible for, operate, and further develop the fire protection management system
- Advise managers and specialist departments regarding fire protection
- Analyze hazards, assess risks, and initiate measures accordingly
- Organize and conduct safety audits and inspections in properties, production facilities, and construction sites
- Train and raise awareness of employees regarding fire protection
- Depending on employment level, collaborate on other safety topics such as Business Continuity Management (BCM) as well as emergency and crisis management
What distinguishes you
- Basic training (EFZ) in a technical field, ideally with higher technical education (BP/HF)
- Completed training as a fire protection safety officer or willingness to undertake corresponding further training
- Solid experience with fire protection management systems, preferably in an industrial environment
- Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) as well as emergency and crisis management is a plus
- Independent, efficient, and structured working style
- Confident demeanor when dealing with internal customers and fluent oral and written communication in German
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
