You prepare materials and experiments for lessons and practical courses and support teachers as needed. You independently supervise and manage the biology laboratory and the biology collection (models, animal specimens, chemicals, microscopes, and technical equipment, etc.) and share responsibility for compliance with safety regulations (chemical safety, storage, fire protection). Additionally, you are responsible for breeding and keeping living organisms required for teaching. Together with students, you are responsible for animal care. Your administrative tasks include ordering and purchasing.
We are looking for a reliable and open personality who enjoys working both in a team and independently and systematically. Supporting teachers in preparing experiments requires a high willingness to be flexible in the sometimes hectic school environment. You see yourself as a service provider and enjoy interacting with young people. Good PC skills (Microsoft Office) are required. You are characterized by helpfulness, manual skills, and a broad scientific interest.
