Overhead Line Installer Copper and Fiber Optics (m/f/d)

Regions: Bern, Aargau, Zurich Oberland and/or Eastern Switzerland (desired region can be specified in the application).

Your tasks

• Locating and fixing faults on overhead lines (copper & fiber optics)

• Repair of damaged cables, joints, and distribution points

• Assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of overhead line networks

• Work on masts, facades, and support systems

• Performing measurements and tests (OTDR, copper measurements)

• Willingness to be on call duty

Your profile

• Experience in overhead line construction or maintenance (copper and/or fiber optic)

• Experience in copper technology (e.g., xDSL, line testing)

• Good knowledge in fiber optic splicing and measurement methods

• Experience in fault service is an advantage

• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style

• Willingness for on-call duty and assignments outside regular working hours

• Good German skills (French and/or Italian are an advantage)

• Driver's license category B
