Coder (40-70%)

The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopedics, surgery, and urology. With us, you will find meaningful work in a family environment where people are at the center.

Your main tasks

• Timely, revenue-optimized, and audit-proof coding of inpatient treatment cases
• Administrative processing of inquiries and rejections from insurers
• Active participation in the continuous optimization of documentation and coding quality
• Internal and external contact person for coding questions (health insurance companies, medical profession, internal departments, etc.)

Your profile

• Several years of coding experience in Switzerland is required
• Completion or training for the federal specialist certificate as a coder is an advantage
• Interest in linking medical and economic topics
• Good IT user skills (MS Office)
• Committed personality who wants to help shape a collegial and appreciative team collaboration
