As a Bid Manager, you take on a key role in the tender process for public procurement. You are responsible for the structured coordination, creation, and optimization of our offers – from reviewing the tender documents to timely submission. In close collaboration with Sales, specialist departments, and purchasing, you ensure that our offers convince both formally and content-wise.
Your Role
- You analyze public tenders and identify opportunities, risks, and strategic levers
- You take full responsibility for the offer process – from setup and timings to the final contract conclusion
- You confidently and purposefully orchestrate internal teams and external partners
- You develop strong offer storylines and present complex content clearly, precisely, and convincingly
- You design deal and offer strategies with a clear focus on competitive advantages and customer benefits
- You ensure that all formal requirements are met exactly on time
- You drive quality, learn from every offer, and build sustainable offer assets
Your Profile
- Completed education (HF/FH/University) with a business or IT-related focus
- Several years of experience in bid management of IT services & Managed Services – ideally in the context of public tenders
- Solid understanding of complex awarding, tendering, and submission processes
- Strong in organization, communication, and stakeholder management – even under time pressure
- Very good, confident German language skills in speaking and writing as well as a pronounced editorial sense
- Structured, independent working style with a clear focus on results
- APMP and/or HERMES certification is an advantage
