About the job
What to expect
- Responsibility for operational ordering in the Home & Lifestyle sector
- Ensuring product availability considering targets, stock coverage, seasonality, and forecasts
- Independent management and control of the entire ordering process – from automated product ordering through order confirmation checks to order cleanup and backorder maintenance
- You monitor and ensure correct delivery dates and order quantities in the system and continuously optimize the quality of ordering and delivery processes together with suppliers and the platform procurement
- Managing the purchasing mailbox and ongoing communication with suppliers
- Handling invoice and goods receipt issues
- Coordination of special cases and special orders in close coordination with warehouse and goods receipt as well as organization and monitoring of returns
- Maintenance of purchasing-relevant master data (e.g., purchasing notes, manual stock targets)
- Ensuring the flow of information to product management for EOL items and master data changes
What you bring
- Completed commercial basic training or retail with appropriate further education (e.g., commercial school)
- Further training in operational purchasing or supply chain management is an advantage
- Initial professional experience (1–2 years) in operational purchasing, disposition, or planning is mandatory
- You have good MS Office skills and work independently, structured, and efficiently
- Fluent in German, basic knowledge of English is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and interconnected thinking
- You are a responsible, solution-oriented personality and convince through your communication skills in dealing with internal and external interfaces
- Interest in beauty products and dynamic retail environments
