Job Description
This is your chance to be part of our Data & Analytics team and help shape the future of data analysis at SMN. In collaboration with your colleagues, you identify and implement cutting-edge, sustainable, data-driven solutions and flexibly integrate existing information systems. You work hand in hand with our outsourcing partners and internal business teams to provide our clients with ever better service. The goal of the D&A team is to enable users to make quick and informed decisions based on information from a multitude of systems.

Qualifications
Profile sought:
Master's or doctorate in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in data science, preferably in the healthcare sector with hospital experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, statistical modeling methods, and Data Mining.
Experience with Big Data technologies and analysis of large data sets.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Very good knowledge of German and French, English is an asset.
Knowledge of the HIMSS AMAM maturity model and experience in developing analytical strategies.
Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Autonomy and results orientation.
Knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform world is a plus.
Your responsibilities:
Strategic leadership: Development and implementation of the Data & Analytics strategy in line with the company's objectives.
Ensure management of the main supplier (contract, support, new features...)
Product lifecycle management used for analyses
Team orientation: Supervision, coaching, and mentoring of the Data & Analytics team, promoting the professional and personal development of team members.
Project management: Prioritization, planning, direction, and monitoring of Data Analytics projects, including budget management, risk management, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirement definition: In collaboration with our business analysts, you challenge the needs expressed by users, have a global vision, and propose optimization solutions.
Communication with users: Proactive communication with users and stakeholders, conveying complex technical concepts in an understandable way, gathering and analyzing needs.
Development of Data & Analytics maturity: Cyclical analysis of the current maturity level of analytical capabilities using the HIMSS AMAM maturity model, development and implementation of measures to reach the next maturity level.
Data analysis and interpretation: Analysis of large and complex data sets from different sources, extraction of actionable insights, and formulation of recommendations in collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
Technology watch: Monitoring and evaluation of new technologies and trends in data analysis and data science, identifying innovation potential for Swiss Medical Network.
Data & Analytics Self-Service: Implementation of a training concept and continuous training within the company to increase autonomy and skills of end users.
