At Maurerschule, around 90 children and adolescents with physical and multiple disabilities as well as autism are taught. The school has a very well-developed support, therapy, and care program.Your Tasks
To complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for the 2025/2026 school year for a school special education teacher for the upper level/15plus. You will be responsible for:- Teaching in team teaching of a mixed-age double class, 10 students
- Specific preparation for training, work, employment, and everyday life
- Close cooperation with external partners and foundations
- Promoting and teaching holistically and action-oriented within the framework of the day school
- Collaboration in an open and well-coordinated interdisciplinary team as well as with parents and external specialists
Your Profile
- Diploma as a teacher (edk-recognized) or social pedagogue
- Training in school special education or willingness to complete it
- Experience in dealing with children and adolescents with physical and multiple disabilities and/or autism is desirable
- Experience in vocational orientation or in the work area of adolescents with special needs
- Willingness to collaborate in the interdisciplinary team (care, therapy)
