The municipality of Steffisburg with 16,000 inhabitants operates 15 kindergartens, 8 primary school locations, and two secondary schools. The upper secondary level includes two locations with a total of 20 real, secondary, and special secondary classes as well as a KbF and an IK DaZ class. Each location is managed by a school management team, which is subordinate to the overall school management. The MR area of the upper secondary level is separately led by a management person.
50 teachers teach around 400 students at the upper secondary level. Both locations are close to each other and work closely together.

Tasks
The school management MR cycle 3 is responsible for the implementation of the entire MR area according to the "Guideline Measures in Regular School (MR)" dated 05.01.2024.
- Professional and pedagogical leadership of Integrative Support IF, the class for special support KbF (including student businesses), and the IK DaZ class
- Responsible for the integration of students with individual learning goals (riLz, eiLz) and students in the special public school offer (bVSA int.)
- Personnel management of all MR teachers at the upper secondary level (currently eight people)
- Close cooperation with the school management of the upper secondary level and the MR school management PS and in the entire school management team of the municipality
- Cooperation with specialist authorities
- Taking over tasks of the school management of the upper secondary level
Requirements
You
- have completed school management training or are willing to acquire it
- have leadership experience, preferably in the MR area
- are a team player, flexible, cooperative, sociable, resilient, and humorous

- have negotiation skills and are characterized by high communication competence and lead in a goal- and solution-oriented manner
- are an authentic personality with a positive attitude
