Team Leader: Freight Forwarding 100%
Tasks:
- Comprehensive management of the assigned functional area in terms of personnel and expertise
- Ensuring flawless, timely, and independent handling of all transport orders
- Determination of transport volume
- Ensuring efficient deployment planning of drivers and vehicles taking into account legal and internal requirements
- Participation in picking and loading
- Notification of recipients according to transport planning and communication with other departments
- Ensuring a qualitatively flawless delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Ensuring deputizing within the area of responsibility
- Handling and monitoring of export orders
- Maintenance and filing of all relevant transport and export documents
Requirements:
- For this varied and responsible position, you need a completed vocational training in freight forwarding or logistics
- In addition, you have completed further training as a freight forwarding specialist or as a transport and logistics dispatcher
- You convince with your several years of industrial professional experience in the area of import/export
- You have good knowledge of MS Office (focus on Excel). SAP knowledge as well as good geographical knowledge would be a great plus
- You have very good German skills. Good English skills are an advantage.
