About the job
The Directorate of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich ( www.vd.zh.ch ) oversees the Office for Economy, the Office for Labor, the Office for Mobility, as well as administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV). The General Secretariat is the staff unit of the Director and the service center of the Directorate.
Personnel Consultant RAV 80 - 100%
In the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Labor operates 16 Regional Employment Centers (RAV). In our RAVs, we offer a comprehensive range of services for job seekers and employers from all sectors and professional groups. In addition, we support companies in finding the right employees. Here, at the pulse of the labor market, your commitment and professional knowledge are in demand.
In various RAVs of the Canton of Zurich, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement competent and advisory support.
Your area of responsibility
What you can achieve:
- support job seekers in their positioning and reintegration into the labor market and actively mediate them
- ensure a quick start of employment for people with different professional backgrounds and implement legal requirements in a results-oriented manner
- collaborate between the RAVs and their partner institutions (e.g., job placement center, unemployment insurance funds, career counseling, social assistance, etc.)
- ensure exchange and cooperation with other RAVs in the canton
- build and maintain sustainable networks with Zurich employers, convincing them with the quality of your services
Your profile
What you bring:
- 3-year vocational training and at least 8 years of work experience in a service-oriented function in the areas of placement, sales, personnel management, or HR
- motivated and results-oriented personality with a good amount of life experience
- high willingness to learn and federally recognized further education (specialist certificate level, CAS or similar)
- administratively experienced, independent and organized way of working
- excellent communication skills and assertiveness
- confident German language skills in spoken and written form
- good knowledge of the Swiss labor market
