Job description:
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will take part in the unit's daily analytical activities. Your main tasks will be:
1. Maintain and update existing dashboards/quality controls, particularly those related to monitoring medical services, billing, and quality. You will ensure the consistency of data from different systems (EHR, billing, administration) and the reliability of the monitored indicators.
2. Participate in creating new dashboards/quality controls by translating the needs of business teams: patient flow monitoring, bed occupancy, care quality indicators, needs of administrative and financial teams, etc. You will apply best practices in modeling, visualization, and data quality management.
3. Perform occasional extractions and analyses, responding reliably and autonomously to requests from doctors, caregivers, administrative teams, and external clients.
4. Collaborate closely with business units by attending meetings, understanding their challenges, and supporting them in adopting the developed tools and indicators.
Profile sought:
- Master's degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a HEG Bachelor with strong specialization in data
- First experience (including internships) in data analysis, visualization, or a similar role: an asset
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) and a BI tool (Tableau, Power BI)
- Analytical mindset, rigor, synthesis skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to simplify complex information.
- Willingness to learn and ability to self-reflect, curiosity, and autonomy.
