Head of Maintenance

Are you an experienced leader in maintenance with solid experience in industrial production environments and heavy machinery systems?

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance who will take responsibility for all maintenance activities at the site. In this key position, you will ensure the technical availability, safety, and efficiency of our equipment and drive the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading and further developing the maintenance team.
• Ensuring high equipment availability through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance measures.
• Responsibility for the servicing and maintenance of production equipment, heavy machinery, and technical infrastructure.
• Planning and monitoring maintenance budgets, investment projects, and external service providers.
• Analysing malfunctions and implementing sustainable improvement measures.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant Swiss regulations, standards, and safety requirements in maintenance as well as machine and occupational safety.
• Close collaboration with production, engineering, and EHS to optimise operational processes.

Your Profile

• Technical education with further training as an engineer, HF technician, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of leadership experience in maintenance within an industrial production company.
• Solid knowledge in mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation technology.
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment and complex production systems.
• Very good knowledge of Swiss legislation and regulatory requirements in machine, operational, and occupational safety.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and implementation-strong personality.
• Good German and English skills.
