The employees of the Civil Engineering Department ensure user-oriented management of roads, green spaces, forests, waters, water supply, sewerage, and disposal. To complement our team, we are looking for a
YOUR TASKS IN THIS POSITION ARE:
- Monitoring operations through the use of the process control system (PCS)
- Maintenance, repair, and installation of electrotechnical components
- Checking and calibration of all measurements
- Laboratory tests (sludge and wastewater)
- Monitoring and maintenance of the public sewer system and special structures in the sewer network
- Participation in developing proposals for acquisitions and replacements
- Continuous professional development according to VSA/AWEL
- On-call and weekend duty (Saturday and Sunday)
YOUR PROFILE FITS PERFECTLY IF YOU:
- have completed a manual vocational training at EFZ level, hold a category B driving license, and possess the federal specialist certificate for wastewater treatment plant specialist.
- have good knowledge of mechanical and electrotechnical processes and PC skills (MS Office/industrial control PCS).
- appreciate an independent and quality-conscious way of working.
- maintain a cool head due to your precise, clean working style, high sense of responsibility, and resilience even in emergencies and disruptions.
- carry environmental awareness in your heart.
- reside in the region due to deployments for urgent fault repairs outside regular working hours.
