Assistant for Department Management (80% to 100%)

The Security Department of the City of Thun includes the areas of Resident/Migration Services, Police Inspectorate, as well as Protection and Rescue.

As of April 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a Security Department assistant

• Support of the department management and area management in all matters
• Coordination of appointments for the department management
• Independent drafting of complex letters, memos, and minutes, as well as editing documents
• Gathering information for factual matters, presentations, etc.
• Creating presentations
• Participation in projects
• Management of all processes and uniform application of time tracking
• Ensuring the correct use of the business management program Axioma across all areas of the Security Department
• Possibility of temporary takeover of tasks in the Police Inspectorate up to 20%

• Commercial basic training EFZ or similar qualification
• Specialized further training, such as executive assistance or municipal specialist
• Several years of professional experience
• Solid IT user skills
• Preferably, you have already gained experience in an administration
• Interest in administrative and political tasks
• Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
