The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To strengthen the coding service team, we are looking for a:
Medical Coder M/F at 80%-100%
The main responsibilities of this position are
- Ensure high-quality coding of our hospital activity (SwissDRG and ST-Reha) according to current rules
- Handle coding disputes from insurers and other guarantors
- Monitor and apply updates to the catalogs
- Work closely with doctors, caregivers, and other units of the Department
- Participate in improving coding tools
We require
- Specialist diploma in medical coding or interest in following the 3-month medical coding training at CHUV starting 1.03.2026
- Rigor, precision, and priority management
- Ease in interpersonal contacts
- Team spirit and mutual support
- Very good command of computer tools
- Knowledge of German is a plus
