Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for you as Workshop Manager Tunnel Construction for the workshop in the Civil Engineering ETS Region North division. Your place of employment will be Buchrain.

What you will drive

• Operational management of the tunnel construction workshop including personnel responsibility (mechanics, apprentices, external fitters)
• Ensuring timely maintenance, servicing, and repair of tunnel construction machines and equipment
• Prioritization of workshop orders in close coordination with project management and deployment planning
• Support in fault diagnosis as well as in complex repair cases
• Organization of materials, spare parts, and consumables (including inventory management)
• Planning and implementation of optimizations in machine availability and workshop processes
• Participation in investments, new acquisitions, and decommissioning of machines and equipment
• Monitoring compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection regulations
• Maintenance of machine and maintenance documentation (digital/analog)

Why you will succeed

• Completed apprenticeship as a construction machinery or agricultural machinery mechanic EFZ
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the industry
• Knowledge in the field of tunnel construction is an advantage
• Possession of a specialist certificate as workshop manager is positively evaluated
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style, as well as very good organizational skills
• Experience in managing employees is an advantage
• Ability to work in a team and independently, high motivation and commitment, occasional site visits required
• Sense of responsibility regarding occupational safety
