To strengthen our team for expansion calculation in the Technical Directorate, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for our location in Basel (or Bern) for a specialist in the field of facade.
What you can achieve with us
In the acquisition or development phase:
• Development and review of technical solutions for facades and building envelopes.
• Support of planning taking costs into account.
• Calculation of construction costs.
• Presenting and arguing facade concepts.
• Preparation of construction descriptions and measurements.
• Maintenance of a network consisting of planners, manufacturers, associations, and subcontractors.
• Development and review of technical details, optimization possibilities, and variants.
In the execution phase:
• Support and advice on professional and technical issues.
• Assistance in preparing tenders and participation in award negotiations.
• Review of budget and calculation issues.
What you bring with you
• Training as a facade engineer or comparable studies.
• Many years of experience and sound expertise in the field of building envelopes. Expertise in timber construction is a plus.
• You are able to assess and further develop facade concepts or are motivated to familiarize yourself with this topic. We support you in further developing your knowledge.
• Team player, solution-oriented as well as structured, independent, and precise in your work.
• Very good German skills; French skills are an advantage.
• Affinity for numbers with good knowledge of modern calculation tools.
