Your team
Pictet Tech designs, integrates and operates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations.
You’ll be part of the Cloud Engineering unit. In this unit, we are responsible for streamlining the development experience of product teams by delivering reliable and user-centric platforms covering observability, identity, continuous integration and delivery, release management and cloud capabilities.
As a member of the management team, you will contribute to overseeing the unit’s proper operation and will directly manage a team responsible for operating one or more platforms.
Your role
- Lead a team of 6-12 engineers, manage performance, provide continuous feedback, and support their professional growth and career progression.
- Actively participate in the recruitment process to establish a high-performing engineering team.
- Offer a compelling vision that drives innovation and motivates engineers to design and maintain scalable solutions.
- Mentor and support engineers in adopting modern platform engineering practices.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that enables the team to excel.
- Promote a customer-focused approach by implementing a culture of feedback collection and collaborative development of platform roadmaps.
Your profile
- Confirmed IT engineer with at least a first experience of leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing development or platform engineering best practices, emphasizing end-to-end responsibility, customer-centricity, and automation.
- Experience in facilitating technical and architectural discussion within a team developing and managing complex systems.
- Strong interest and solid understanding of cloud technologies and software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively build and manage stakeholders relationships.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Swiss resident or willingness to relocate.
