In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) helps to strengthen the Zurich location. The Competence Center for Labor consolidates labor market policy competencies within the AFA and takes on important strategic cross-sectional tasks, projects, and services on labor market policy topics as well as the execution of public employment services and unemployment insurance.
For the new Finance & Controlling department, we are looking for a committed person with a feel for numbers, processes, and people. In this role, you are part of the Competence Center for Labor and significantly support the financial management of the Office for Labor.

Your area of responsibility
Your tasks:
- Ensuring correct bookkeeping (general and subsidiary ledgers)
- Monthly and annual financial statements according to the requirements of the canton and SECO
- Preparation and support of audits including in-depth financial controls and SECO audit
- Participation in the organizational and professional development of accounting
- Controlling tasks can be expanded depending on the applicant's profile
- Consulting and supporting department heads and cost center managers
- Participation in the budgeting process
- Topic-related participation in projects of the canton and SECO
- Process responsibility for defined ICS processes as well as execution of ICS controls
Your profile
Your profile:
- Completed advanced training with a professional certificate in finance and accounting with 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable function
- SAP knowledge FI/CO, AA, SD, KR
- Administrative experience is an advantage
- Team orientation, networked thinking and structured working method, high service orientation as well as decisiveness Integrative and result-oriented personality with interest in cross-departmental collaboration
