About the job
Employee AVOR – Building Envelope & Wood 100% in Herzogenbuchsee
Support our team!
Since 1899, the cooperative HG COMMERCIALE (HGC) with its approximately 850 employees today has been one of the most important service providers in the Swiss construction industry. The mix makes the difference: We value the experience of our long-standing HGC professionals from various professions as much as young talents, whom we promote internally and externally. Our culture is open, fair, and honest and down-to-earth in the best sense. We rely on mutual trust. Each individual should take responsibility and contribute ideas because we want to move forward together and shape the future of the construction industry.
Your area of responsibility
Your responsibilities include supporting existing and new customers by phone and email. You create and process offers and orders, including price and deadline checks, and clarify queries directly with customers while coordinating solutions internally.
A central part of your activity is the work preparation for controlling our CNC system. In close cooperation with the CNC machinist, you handle processing orders, ensuring the highest quality and precision. Through forward-looking scheduling and capacity planning, you ensure timely processing and optimal utilization of the CNC system. You also monitor and organize the maintenance, servicing, and care of the machine. In the absence of the CNC machinist, you take over their representation directly at the CNC system.
Your profile
You have experience in work preparation (AVOR) in timber construction as well as in the building envelope sector and possess solid knowledge in handling CNC machines and a pronounced technical understanding. Ideally, you have completed training as a carpenter or joiner. You have good PC user skills and possibly knowledge of the CAD program Cadwork. You also like to take responsibility and are characterized by an independent, reliable, and structured way of working. Teamwork is also one of your strengths, and your profile is rounded off by good German language skills, both spoken and written.
