The Building Department of the Canton of St. Gallen is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and management of buildings that the canton needs to fulfill its tasks.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a
Skilled Worker with EFZ for the Caretaker Team (m/f/d)

What to expect
- Care of the assigned buildings of the cantonal administration in the city of St. Gallen
- Monitoring, care, and maintenance of buildings, building services systems, and control systems
- Independent execution of maintenance and repair work and/or commissioning, coordination, and supervision of external service providers
- Provision of on-call duty services
What distinguishes you
- Completed skilled vocational training EFZ such as electrician, heating installer, sanitary installer, or facility maintenance specialist with several years of professional experience
- Very good technical understanding, high skill in handling craft tasks
- Completed further training as a caretaker with a federal certificate of competence or willingness to complete it
- Very good IT user skills (M365), experience with building control systems
- Physically resilient and accustomed to independent work
- Impeccable reputation
- Driver's license category B
