Choir Director / Choir Director (20%) We expect from you
- Education or training in choir conducting and ideally additional training in church music
- Familiarity with the church year and Catholic liturgies
- Participation in the musical design of services
- Participation in major feasts with orchestra and soloists or instrumental ensembles
- Openness to different musical styles and the development of new forms
- Joy and motivation to promote the choir vocally and musically
- Organizational skills
- Team and communication skills, loyalty
- Well-established, mixed choir with currently 40 enthusiastic and performance-ready members
- The choir maintains a broad, versatile repertoire and rehearses on Wednesday evenings (except during school holidays)
- Committed association that also maintains social contact
- Versatile and independent activity with many opportunities for design
- Possibility to expand the choir into a pastoral area choir
- Place for new ideas and personal projects
- Employment conditions according to the recommendations of the Roman Catholic state church of the canton
