Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):
1 41'834.-- / 64'005.--
Main tasks at the OSC Hotel Service (cleaning):
- performs cleaning and disinfection (equipment and premises) according to the instructions and program set by the responsible persons
- uses cleaning products in accordance with service regulations
- uses equipment and work machines, taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any repair needs
- complies with the regulations for personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensures safety at work
- respects institutional rules regarding the personal belongings of users
- collaborates with the caring staff and conveys, within the limits of their knowledge and skills, information related to their work and the behavior of users, without interfering in the therapeutic plan of users
- in case of need, provides support to other groups of the Hotel Service and collaborates with the Catering Service
Main tasks at the OSC Hotel Service (laundry):
- manages dirty laundry in the laundry according to the instructions and work guidelines
- handles clean laundry according to the instructions and work guidelines and prepares it for distribution, within Casvegno and for external clients
- executes the labeling of company, personal, and work clothes
- follows users in daily activities in the laundry, in collaboration with Inclusive Professional Areas (API)
- uses equipment and work machines, taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any repair needs
- complies with the regulations for personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensures safety at work
- performs cleaning and disinfection (equipment and premises) of the laundry according to the instructions and program set by the responsible persons
- in case of need, assists in cleaning the buildings of Casvegno and collaborates with the Catering Service
Main tasks at the OSC Catering Service:
- performs all cleaning tasks (equipment and premises) as outlined in the work plans
- executes the daily washing of dishes
- prepares vegetables for meals (cutting and cleaning)
- independently prepares breakfasts for guests
- collaborates in the distribution of meals, both on the conveyor and at the counter
For all tasks, adherence to the OSC value cards is required
Requirements:
- federal certificate of competence (AFC) as a domestic economy employee or cleaner for ordinary and maintenance cleaning is a preferred qualification
- proven experience in the hotel and/or catering sector is a preferred qualification
- availability to work in shifts (including weekends and holidays)
- good command of the Italian language (spoken and written)
- flexibility, organizational and relational skills
- teamwork attitude
- availability to work with people in a socio-psychiatric context
- knowledge of the Ticino territory
Special observations:
- service location: Mendrisio
- depending on needs, candidates may be contacted for a possible part-time/full-time employment
- availability of the candidate to work irregular hours and shifts (holidays and nights)
- as this is an annual competition, with the possibility of being hired during 2025, candidates will not receive a positive or negative response. They will only be informed about the validity of their application in relation to the required qualifications

- in addition to the documents to be submitted at the time of online application (cover letter and motivation, CV, diplomas, certificates, and work attestations), further documentation may be requested later (criminal record with self-certification and self-certification of health status)
Employment conditions:
- appointment or assignment: those provided by the Law on the organization of state employees and teachers of March 15, 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organization remain explicitly reserved
- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
