About the job
You are responsible for the entire cleaning in the buildings of the monastery operation as well as the senior center St. Josef. You organize all basic, maintenance, and daily cleaning tasks, actively support, and, together with your 20-member team, ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a homely atmosphere.
The breakfast service in some communities is also part of your duties, as well as the coordination and cleaning of rooms for guests and the management of seminar rooms.
You respond to the wishes and concerns of the various stakeholders in a service-oriented manner and work as a committed team player in cross-departmental projects.
Scope of duties:
- Responsibility for the entire cleaning area (monastery and St. Josef)
- Personnel management as well as targeted promotion of employees
- Conducting team meetings and employee discussions
- Employee planning with the help of Polypoint
- Coordinating and planning daily tasks, basic cleaning, and unscheduled cleaning orders
- Coordinating the occupancy and cleaning of rooms for internal and external guests
- Planning the cleaning and preparation of seminar rooms
- Purchasing and inventory management of all cleaning agents and equipment for the monastery using NAVISION
- Active participation in the area of responsibility (20%) as well as office work (80%)
Expectations:
- Completed basic training as a hotel and housekeeping specialist EFZ or equivalent training
- Further training in building cleaning or several years of experience in this field
- Several years of leadership experience, assertiveness with appreciative leadership style
- High service orientation (shaping and supporting Klosterhügel as a meeting place)
- Experience in purchasing and inventory management
- Good IT user skills and willingness to familiarize yourself with our systems (MS Office, Polypoint, Navision)
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to work on weekends
- Enjoyment of working with people and teamwork
- Service-oriented, competent, and well-groomed appearance, target group-appropriate communication
