The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the Principality of Monaco. It features 596 rooms, suites, and residences as well as four restaurants, three bars, a Fitness Center, a Spa, two swimming pools, Room Service, and a Catering service.
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Consistently provide a professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Complete reservation lists while ensuring data accuracy
• Update reservations ensuring a perfect arrival and departure process
• Ensure revenue maximization by upselling higher category rooms and recommending hotel services
• Maintain liaison with the Sales department and other departments as necessary
• Respond promptly to inquiries by phone or email
• Inform guests about hotel facilities effectively and helpfully • Other tasks as assigned
• Experience in reception – luxury hospitality
• Successful experience of at least six months as a Reservations Agent would be a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera software
• Fluent in French, English, and Italian
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Particularly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work effectively under pressure • Ability to work in a team
• Ability to focus on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
